Belgium Tour 2000 —— More Photos of Belgian Goodness

More images from Belgium 2000. Slightly more palatable than the previous images.

Group shot at Belgium Tour 2000
A fun shot hanging around the 24 hours of Specialty Belgian Beer Festival in 2000. This Dixieland-style band really hots things up!
See, McDonald's is a bunch of Vichy sympathizers!
Ahhhh, a proper Belgian pour. The bottles are left at an angle and allowed to "rest" so that the yeast will primarily settle out to the bottom of the bottle. You don't want too much of this good stuff in your beer. It doesn't negatively affect taste, but bathroom visit frequency is increased.
4 dudes @ festival w/ beer
4 Chumps drinking at the Belgian Beer Festival. BilFish on the Left, Steve Urban on the right, strange kiwi fellow with his tongue of doom, and some other guy.
Dudes @ dinner
It wasn't all pure drinking. Occasionally we'd stop for a bite to eat to go with our drinks. Left to Right is Steve Urban (4-eyed Man of Mystery), John "HotPants" Jaser, and BilFish the Blonde.

Looking down on the Festival Hall.
Minibar leftovers
Our own version of the Battle of the Bulge, raiding the minibar upon arrival.
Jaser makes a "transaction"
Yes, 3 10% beers should just about do it for a nightcap.
Urban works his magic!
Steve Urban continues to work his magic, this time using both hands.
